Ooh a cylinder is a great idea! Makes a lot of sense for a watch.

We're also interestingly enough at around the geometric mean between atoms and stars! (as in the scale of humans)

Ooh these are great! I think I just saw one of these somewhere recently and liked it, so it's great to have a name. Thank you!

Ooh wow! I've seen one of these in the Microsoft HQ in Seattle and saw a video about the pom pom one but didn't know it was the same guy. And there's so many! Thank you, this is great.

Thank you! By all means, I'd love to see it. I actually have a programmable watch [0] that I want to put it on. And the ultimate goal is a non-screen-based hardware version of this. [0] https://watchy.sqfmi.com/

If you like weird clocks, I've got a collection of them here [0] which includes two others I've made—the QR Code Clock (probably my stupidest design of anything to date), and the vague clock (which is always correct and accurat

Thank you! I am quite happy with how it turned out and looking at it now reminds me a bit of the clock in Lost when it turns to Egyptian Hieroglyphs.

Okay, in the interim I have a shipped a fix for Android (seems fine on an iPhone emulation) that uses two tens like so "𒌋𒌋" (looks like <<) instead of one twenty "𒎙" (also looks like << but a bit tighter). Th

It seems that of all the numbers (needed here), the symbol for 20 (𒎙) is the only one that doesn't render on Android. Very odd. It does seem to be the last used codepoint (U+12399) in the Cuneiform block (U+12000–U+123FF) and they seem

I love this genre! I've started calling it “Dantzig Sniping” and here’s my own one: https://x.com/TheOisinMoran/status/1298305686082744320 Some more context and related ones here: https://x.com

I think this would be more fun if it started out easier, but most importantly if it gave you some real world stats at the end, such as how you compare to others, or whether you're colorblind etc.

Is it actually just doing it at both ends or something nore complex? Because for example if I did 7 - (-1~2)^2 the actual range would be 3-7 but just doing both ends of the interval would give 3-6 as the function is maximised inside the ran

Surprised the 2008 Iranian missile fake didn't make it in! This was one the demo images we used to show off our forgery detection software in the early days of Inscribe before we focused in on documents as a company. https://

Ironically (or not) this section (on mobile anyway) seems to hyphenate way too much, with three lines in a row and two lines in a row ending in a hyphen (5/8 total lines in the paragraph).

For the last while I've been working on a link sharing site that allows you to follow subsets of someone's tags, rather than the whole person. It's a kind of "alts by default", moving counter to the audience capture

Hard disagree with a lot said here. Watched both the film and this series (though haven't got around to finishing it yet) for the first time last year, and the series lacks a lot of what makes the film great. The film has some interest

For one, the revenue model for lynkmi is user subscriptions rather than ads. I'm taking a hard stance on never doing ads as that distorts the incentives. I want the money to come from people who like the product. Also tags are more per
