Modern Javascript is a subset of TypeScript though.

Not everything needs to be architected to be "enterprise grade" though. And a lot more languages can handle DB than just Java and C#.

I quite like Next.JS but this give me a little bit of a pause. Do you really want to work with a framework that has another framework on top of it? This feels a bit iffy to me.

You aren't using source maps to transform your stack traces then? I've had very little issue in understanding stack traces in any of the major JS frameworks.

I'll bite. What part of React has really been innovative? Because it seems to me that around the time React really gained popularity there were lots of options that did largely the same thing. Knockout, Ember etc. Personally I only see

This is such a dull take at this point. I'm sorry, but WASM won't magically be able to port your UI app to the web. Just because it can convert some basic logic doesn't mean that it will be able to create a performant applica

I think it's because building software is a team endeavor. Just because individuals are smart doesn't mean that the end result will be great.

Anecdotally the way to achieve a high salary in the software industry in Sweden is to do solo consulting. Most companies seem to keep the salaries from inflating by getting seniors from consulting agencies or freelancing consultants; which

I think Valve is a good example of how to do it. Sure they also take a sizeable chunk out of sales, but they seem to compete on the same terms with their games with everyone else on Steam. Going so far as to clearly make an unfair advantage
