I think the idea is a fairly reasonable one, taxing large enterprises for charging insane support/servicing fees. Their implementation of it sounds really crappy though.

What I don't like about this is that Toptal agreed to the terms. "Our COO went ahead and said we promise not to show any females in our advertisements" That reminds me of the saying: "Sitting on two chairs with one ass

I don't think Randall does xkcd out of pure altruism. I also don't think he does it just for fun (although I believe that's how he started). I think it's a mixture between the two. If the comics were exactly the same, I&

Watching the Kickstarter video, it felt very forced. I get that you are trying to revolutionize programming, but try not to keep telling me that and instead show me. I feel that if you had a screen cast of working on a simple demo applicati

Yeah, exactly. If I knew that it only stores my location info for 30 minutes, I would have most likely said yes. Without that, temporary could mean anything (hours, days, weeks).

I think you should have a modal appear when a user doesn't allow you to read their location. The modal could maybe offer an explanation of what exactly the site does (e.g. How long you retain location data). Bonus points if we have the
