OP stated the requirements I quoted above, AMS definitely doesn't make sense, and I don't think Bambu makes sense either. Before Bambu, Prusa was the 'no tinker just print' brand, though I haven't used one I agree B

But the earnings of Waymo (or hypothetically Tesla) are nothing in Alphabet as a whole. If you get a great deal on your house and then massively overpay for some avocados, the latter's going to barely move your overall wealth.

Or if they would just embrace Asahi! Have a team work full-time on parity, have asahi-linux feature complete on Mac launch day; mainlined soon thereafter. We can dream.

I'd switch if I were you - well, I did, after holding out for what I thought was a long time. A lot of minor nuisances I hadn't gotten around to investigating with X just disappeared, I think you'd find that by comparison you

Ugh I hadn't heard about that. That seems especially silly given 'People's Party' is so well established as how you convey that.

If it's baked into the tool (can run offline) then it would be unavoidable, need a new version to get a new release on the package manager. 1.2.3 -> 1.2.3+1 (or +anything, date, whatever) could arguably be idiomatic semver though -

There are open air urinals in a lot of Europe, including Brussels, so as long as that's what you need (and you're male)... I imagine stations are just so high traffic that it's partly an attempt to limit demand, and partly to

'Google rival' is quite a stretch, surely 'search engine' is not just more accurate, but clearer too with all that Google does today, as if that's new.

I am also aware that 7+ people have been imprisoned for drug-related offences, but it appears neither of us can name any of them off the top of our heads.

They don't even offer that in the UK. Madness, imo, but true. (iPlayer is free if you're a licence fee payer, but it's nothing close to the full back catalog, it's more like an 'aired recently' DVR with a tuner

Is there not currently a charge for it (other than general taxation)? Metering is orthogonal to privatising - you can be metered or not in the UK, it's usually cheaper to be on a meter.

Presence of a magnet doesn't imply presence of a reed switch - are you sure that's not just to give it some resistance to opening for example? Or angle sensing could be implemented with a magnet and Hall effect sensor.

It will depend on the final form the normal useful tools take, but for now it's 'LLMs', 'coding agents', etc.

A reed switch (plus magnet and choice of location) would be an implementation of a 'fixed angle switch' per my comment above.

Simpler than that I think - when do you turn off the screen or sleep? Because it isn't fully closed, but you want to be able to 'privacy-duck' the screen a bit before that, and having a sensor rather than just a fixed angle
