Yeah, I find it odd how hard they push it, like trying to shove it down my throat levels of pushing shorts. I already use their platform heavily, just for regular videos. My guess is they get more data from how you interact with shorts and

I was able to use this adapter to get my 2070s DisplayPort output to send 4k120hz to my TV, which only has HDMI ports. Club 3D active adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Club-3D-DisplayPort1-4-Adapter-CAC-10...

Apex is an EA game and actually ran great on Linux until they removed support. Unfortunate, but they said it was necessary to combat cheaters though that claim is somewhat dubious since cheaters is perfectly viable on Windows still.

For me it's only games the specifically don't support Linux, which are mostly competitive multiplayer games with anti-cheat software. Apex Legends used to work great on Linux, but they removed support as an attempt to combat cheat

It seems it supports DP 1.4 as well, so perhaps you could get an adapter if your display only supports HDMI 2.1

I don't know if Youtube cares, but other website do attempt to block this as well. They will either black your screen or prevent playback if you try to screen record, even encrypting to prevent recording the HDMI/DP output.

I've been using Orion for the same reason. It supports chrome/firefox extensions too so you can install uBlock origin, though it's built-in ad-block is quite good but its still cool being able to install other extensions.

I also love that app sizes get super bloated (several gigs per app) due to cached safari data from the in-app web view. Seems the only way to clear it is to go into settings and wipe the website data for safari entirely. I don't believ

Yup, it's pretty impressive how good IEMs can be at isolating you from sounds with good fitting tips. I am fond of the SpinFit W1 tips, they were much better than whatever stock tips came with mine and they seal really well.

That's pretty peculiar... the ANC worked still it just got rid of this issue? I don't have any guesses why that would be.

I'm not seeing why 10 is so significantly worse than 3... How big of a difference is that, really? I believe it took something like 6 failed attempts for my bank to lock me out.

I'd assume it was their telling them specifically not to get it from a foreign country that was the odd part, as opposed to simply prescribing it from a US pharmacy since ofc that is what a US doctor will do. Maybe enough patients trie
