I don't find that similar at all, it feels more like torture than meditation. The bit about walking I fully agree with. I live in the mountains and love being able to walk cool trails with nothing but my thoughts

My dad gave me very similar advice growing up, as I love for things to be factually correct. To me, it didn't bother me if someone corrected me. However, most people don't appreciate it and it isn't worth upsetting them 90% o

Fraying floss is the worst! I floss semi-regularly but will go periods of time without flossing due to the annoyance factor. I will try these. Just looked them up and are decently cheap.

The only time I experience paring issues is when I switch between multiple devices, such as my phone, laptop, and work computer. Usually an easy fix but annoying nonetheless

I really don't understand why we can't just have the headphone jack back. Did it even take up any significant amount of space?

Good point. I agree. I just felt the headline felt leading compared to the actual intention of the study.

Ketamine is already used medically, correct? I'd imagine that would be easier to push/study because of that. Still super glad to see psychs being studied. It always frustrated me that due to scheduling in the US it was much harder

Can anyone tell me why some comments, like this one, are darker than others? It would appear lighter with the default scheme. Image showing what I mean: https://i.imgur.com/Beo2qve.png

Someone else mentioned using a little post-it notes. I do that at work but never considered the extent to which it helps limit how much I can write, forcing me to more pragmatic about my list. I sometimes try to plan things on a bigger piec

I used flux for a long time and thought it was only relevant for sleep. I found myself using it more during the day as it hurt my eyes less and as a result I also got migraines and headaches less often. Could be a total coincidence or even

This is a study on mice, which from my minimal research appear to be more wakeful at night. I wouldn't consider this study useful at all in determining how blue light affects humans' sleep.

Trying to read some articles, especially without an adblocker, like if I'm on iOS, can be quite annoying. I've found some ways around it, but I use reddit on my phone a lot and anytime I open an article in the app I get frustrated

Yeah, pretty much all cars don't need it except for sports cars. Although it's pretty important if the car specifies that it needs high octane gas. I know one person trashed their engine cause they thought it was a gimmick... whoo

I found microdosing greatly improved my productivity and ability to focus. I think it may be dose dependent and one would have to dial in to their appropriate dose. Also, the type of work one is doing may be an important factor.
