By design, bitcoin favors the miners with the most efficient equipment and naturally adjusts to advances in these technologies. I think the other concepts are quite interesting as well. But it’s not fair to say bitcoin is design to destroy

If you are already a decent programmer then switching to cobol can be easy. Cobol still uses the same logic, just with less fancy tools available. That other stuff really isn’t that hard. Most of it is copy and paste-able once someone expla

Usually you just compile the code to get the copy books. Ezpz. But yes its common practice in my office to carry a thicc black binder around for each companies’ copy book. I’m newer to the mainframe industry but not that new and I’ve never

That fact that the many industries, most importantly the financial industry heavily rely on it makes it an important part of history. I agree cobol as a language is not particularly glamorous in terms of what it brought it computer science.

As for your last point, there appears to be a black swan event quite regularly. It seems logical to prepare for this. Secondly, stock buy backs are often performed at horrible times simply because CEOs want to boost their own salary. This

Well we can look at Italy for example. Also America has a lot of obese people, which are supposedly at a high risk, so it’s possible we see a higher fatality rate. I personally don’t think so just trying to answer your question

To me the most likely explanation is the exchanges pushed the price down to make a killing off leveraged longs. The large majority of the liquidity was on longs today.

Well the market pointed to that, with the majority of liquidation today being on leveraged longs. So it’s more likely the market is corrupt and the exchanges just spent their vast wealth pushing the price down to make a killing off leverage

I believe a more likely theory for the crash was the large exchanges pushing the price down on various exchanges to make money off the leveraged longs and then pair that with panic and you see this price plummet.

I saw that the large majority today was lost on longs, with shorts being much less active. Do you believe it’s likely that the crash was intentional with the large exchanges pushing the price down on various exchanges to make money off the

Looking at the leveraged trading, which is generally controlling the price of the market in crypto… you see the large majority of people went long and lost big on it. Very few went short. To me it seems much more likely the large exchanges
