I might be able to bite on full name/address (considering it's what you'd see on an envelope) but the context is important. The fact that Person A sent a letter to Person B on this can be considered "just" metadata.

You're absolutely right. Legally there is absolutely no difference between busting pedophiles on Tor and busting "whistleblowers" talking to the press, legally speaking. No difference. It's legally the exact same.
