I'm interested how an innovation like this affects the business prospects. Let's assume this is a paradigm shift on the scale of Transformers / `Attention is all you need`. Companies build out new models and pump another $100

Exactly. The specific properties that make plastic useful in industry are the exact same properties that make it an ecological problem. You cannot realistically replace plastic without first accepting an inferior product, trying to make an

Low carbon emissions, but what about cost? This product seems to solve for a lot of things that have nothing to do with why we use plastic. Plastic is everywhere because it is durable & cheap, that's about it got 80% of application

The blameless aspect of post mortem's is paradoxical. I agree with the sentiment but at the end of the day, somewhere in there, the blame is placed on one or two human made oversights or errors. If the conclusion of the PM is "Thi

This delivers on the title but I wonder if you could tweak it to make it an actual game without wildly overcomplicating it. Maybe make the string much longer, like 10 bits, and the game only matches on substrings longer than 3. 000...000 wo

I stick with the dog walker analogy. A man walks down the street at a steady pace, and the dog on the leash runs back and forth and side ways and sits and jumps. The man is the economy, the dog is the market. Unless you have access to HFT s

For HFT - yes, and that has been the case since before the .com bubble. Trading on news is what fuels HFT. And value trading is primarily based on insider trading / corruption. What's left over is ETF's or luck.

With cutting edge stuff you cannot say statements like "I tried X and found that it is not good at Y". You could not get X to be good at Y, but it's not impossible someone else can.
