I used to use uMatrix before it was abandoned by its developer. I had to block literally dozens of pinterest<dot><some TLD> domains but still more kept showing up in search results. I think Pinterest have literally registered ev

Ditto the previous two posts. I tend to keep some notes in NValt and have also dabbled with VimWiki and VViki [port of VimWiki to AsciiDoc] in the past. But the Vim-based ones are pretty clunky to use and NValt has no inter-linking of notes

I've long thought that, in practical terms, we all pretty much are. The universe is, to all intents and purposes a figment of my [and your] imaginations. We have no experience of its existence from before we were born. We can be told

FWIW I always choose .NET over .COM for any domains I register for my [as opposed to client] projects. I prefer it. It's cheap. It rolls off the tongue nicely. It's one of the original [so trustworthy/familiar sounding] TLDs,

Interesting system. But I wonder how many people are going to type their credit card [or other confidential] numbers into an unknown and untrusted website, to test it?

Ah. Got it. Thanks. I think I'm going to have to spend some time reading uBlock Origin's docs. I've pretty much just left it on default settings up to now and used uMatrix for all my individual site tweaking.

Yes. I've seen this recommendation [and also to use UBO in 'medium' mode]. I'm not sure where the settings are to switch these modes. Does clicking the 'More' button to present the expanded popup window do it?.

Thanks for the commiseration. I suspect my case is Piriformis too, which causes the same symptoms as Sciatica, but less likely people would have heard of it. Doubtless self-inflicted too as I'm the kind of "no pain, no gain"
