I order blood tests from my doctor, a couple days later I get the results with two sentences, probably pre selected from the app they use. The doctor adds no value, but creates costs.

The quote says Facebook doesn't want poor people to be able to search for jobs. That is obviously wrong or else they wouldn't provide job search. You may believe they want to monopolize job search, but that is not what the guy sai

I agree, this cool but has been done several times already. What would be great is an inexpensive equivalent approach applied to a chamber vacuum sealer, which are still prohibitively expensive.

You are 100% wrong. Here is an interview with the guy you are talking about who came up with the lethal injection protocol 40 years ago. The specific intent was to be humane, and all it is an overdose of the standard anesthesia of the time.

The single biggest issue was spam. Being largely unmoderated, it became flooded with garbage as the reach of the Internet expanded. Conversation moved to web based forums, which IMO had worse UI in il the early days, because there was more

If you look at inflation adjusted after tax income, it looks more like income is stagnant for the bottom 50%, not 90%. There are some great graphs in this New York Times article about the stagnation of the US middle class. http://

Short answer: when you print money, borrowers and non investors lose money, while lenders and investors gain more. It creates more imbalance. It is more complicated than that. If you print money, borrowers (e.g. 30 year mortgage) can win,

That is something economists have major disagreements about. Classical economists (see Say's law) would argue that the production of a product creates the market/demand for it.

You are right that the advantages the Atari ST and Amiga had were absorbed into mainstream consoles and computers, but I think the time gap is a little longer than a few years. The Amiga released in 1985, but the Sega Genesis/Masterdri

I as a male sympathize with the anger, not the targets of the anger Good luck being happy in life. Victims deserve your empathy, not the angry. Anger rarely leads good things, whether it be at a personal level, or at a macro level.

It is also playing with semantics to exclude DSL from the definition of broadband. 99% of people served by Comcast are also going to have a telco that can provide an admittedly slower, but still broadband, connection via DSL.
