I remember doing this in SimCity 4 a few years ago for a real small town of ~7000 and it actually worked remarkably well out of the box. Residential/Commercial/Industrial came out fairly balanced. The only thing I had to mod to ma

Thanks for this, I've never thought about it that way before. I've never liked cosmetic structural-looking parts, but I've never thought about the fact that had the architect been instructed to have no cosmetic parts, they mi

Yep haha. It's been Rainlendar 2 for a few years now, but I don't think I could name anything that actually looks different in version 2. One of those applications that would only be worse with more features, does everything it ne

Thought I'd share this link as I think I've been using Rainlendar to manage my daily life for at least 15 years now. A great, simple little desktop calendar. The paid version can import from Google Calendar as well, or export to i

It's weird though that there apparently isn't a market for even one high-end small phone, from any manufacturer. I wonder if to some extent they're not different enough . The iPhone mini has a 5.4" screen. Not so long a

Yeah, when the story was written that SCP number didn't exist yet, so it was a safe unused number. Unfortunately not anymore. SCP-4987 is also explained in the first chapter, for a slightly less spoilery link. https://scp-wi

They thought you were referring to the Holy Mountain movie clip from YouTube that the parent comment shared. When you said "that video", it was ambiguous whether "that" referred to the promo video or the one the comment

If you're willing to try something a little bit different, Windows also has a single-click to open mode ('View->Options->Change folder and search options' in Win 11). To only select, you point and hover for a moment.
