From your source, it's not as simple as you state: > One reason for rising prices is increased regulation for nuclear power, which has the important benefit of increased safety. A second reason is that the world has not built many n

The costs are high because noone is building. It's because of all the building that solar is low. If you started building npps the costs would go down a lot.

I completely disagree with your assessment and would be very curious how you got to your opinion that "extremely unpopular in the real world". I suspect it comes down to how we define "socially progressive".

I honestly don't think the paywall was such a bad idea. The barrier to entry was too easy, there were too many people on the platform who had no intention of hosting and were just looking for a free place to stay. The very small contri

I'm a bit perplexed why you quoted a statement saying what it's used for with "what are the actual use cases..." lol. This useful for me, both for ML and for adding effects through sounds. Would much rather use python th

His point is it doesn't matter much if you hear that advice you still need to spend hundreds of hours improving your mechanics to actually execute that advice.

The only thing that would actually make a difference is going full nuclear. But the greens put a stop to that, so I find it hard to take them - and anyone else who, like you, writes paragraphs about things that in reality do not matter - se

You know what, I think you're right I should have been more specific. 99% of code that matters is written by experienced people in my opinion. I.e. the OS, the browser, your favourite apps, websites and programming libraries. Would y

99% of code is internal and something noone unexperienced will look at. If you're writing code for a tutorial for newbies then yeah, it makes sense to add obvious comments. But that's really it. The author is overstating his case.

Nothing you mentioned is high tech. Car companies haven't innovated anything in decades. Spotify is a perfect example of a company with lots of revenue that doesn't do anything interesting with it.
