Overclocked to what degree, using what? And that 9900K score is low. 7100+ is normal. https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/11566275

Sure I am. If I didn't have to collect VAT then I could sell for 100 NOK instead. It's not my money, but I still have to bill for it and pay it. The customer doesn't get a better product or service because of it.

It is both ways, for me. My business pays VAT on sales, and I personally pay VAT on purchases, so for me and my business VAT will be paid twice. Both for what I sold and what I(personally) purchased.

Income tax? Sure. Wealth tax? No, of course not, then investments would basically never be a good idea.

Has to be 15 % of the normal tax or something like that. Wealth tax in Italy is rather low, so 15 % of that would probably be more like 0.1 %.

To put it into perspective: It's like half the price of an expensive phone. High end phones has gotten way more expensive, but there are still consumer products.

The old Mac Pro wasn't exactly pro, no matter how much Apple says it is. The new Mac Pro is an actual pro product, at least the higher specced ones. So they did make a replacement. Is Apple terrible at naming? Yes. Do they throw Pro in

Maybe you should consider switching OS? Apple will always be behind on performance, upgrade paths, compatability and pricing. So if you want a high performance computer that you can upgrade then Apple isn't for you.

Also, this is probably ment to further lock users into the Apple ecosystem. It's not like you can ask Apple to forward emails to your own email server if you decide that you no longer want to use Apple.

That's of course true, but bandwidth is usually not the problem with eg. SYN attacks. Iptables is there to ensure you can handle as many packets as possible per second, not bandwidth.

You still have to do some tuning and at least assign RX queues properly. You want to drop unwanted traffic before you start spending more cycles on it.

A lot of people seems to be thinking that it is pointless to use iptables to drop unwanted traffic in 2019. That is far from the truth. Most attacks are usually small(<10 Gbps) and effective iptables rules can go a long way, both against
