Me too. I cancelled my subscription about a week ago when I first heard of it (and I explained why on their cancellation form). I'm looking at Mullvad and NordVPN. I know Nord had a MITM attack on a Finnish datacenter a few months ago

SEEKING WORK | Germany or remote | Machine Learning and Data Science I use modern machine learning techniques to help companies automate processes, make real-time decisions, or simply reduce friction on internal processes. For example, I&#

Maybe I'll give TF another try, but right now I'm really liking PyTorch. With TensorFlow I always felt like my models were buried deep in the machine and it was very hard to inspect and change them, and if I wanted to do somethin

When I was in college and grad school, I used to read the mathematica documentation for fun. It's very well written.

Proud to be a paid user of PIA. It's a privacy-protecting just-works VPN with plenty of endpoints, nice chrome plugin, and Android app that does what it says. Thanks for your support of Linux Journal.

There's a typo on the top of your main product pages. It says "Accelerate your training a system optimized for Deep Learning..." Needs a "with".

Certainly. For what I said about the swarms to make sense, each robot must have a self-contained power source or be externally powered in a wholesale manner (generally by absorbing energy from the environment). For single (or few) robots

In general no, single actuators move in one dimension and then only in one direction. In humans we have muscle pairs, one contracts to open the joint and the other contracts to close the joint. Of course you can do the same thing with art

I did my PhD with this group (Rob Wood). When I was there, these kind of actuators, and the robots you would put them in, were just getting started. It's great to see how far they've come. One of the great benefits of these soft

I ride with FlixBus several times a year within Germany to visit family. It gets you where you're going, on time, clean buses. There seems to be a lot of competition for buses in Germany, at least in Berlin, so maybe that pushes qual

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, a NUC would be way overpowered most of the time. A R-Pi and NFS probably solves 90% of my use case.

Sad. Algiers was a good place with a nice atmosphere to sit and read for a few minutes. I'm not too worried about the Square loosing it's feel though - new places will pop up and develop their own lore.
