I work near a restaurant kitchen, and they spend much of the day with a flyswatter in hand getting rid of these pests. I have actually verbalized this idea to the chefs in the past, I'm glad to see it actually being done. If made cheap

Thanks! Years now, though the project that has gained traction lately is HomelabOS. https://homelabos.com/ Not really serving industry, self-hosters and home-labbers.

I hit $500/yr on Patreon this week for my open source work! :) Nice work, I should think about having paid only videos as well, I believe I can do that pretty easily on Patreon. Good tips in here.

Many of us prefer using open source software to develop our open source software. GitHub is not open source.

What makes this even more bonkers to me is this is from something most non-tech people haven’t even heard of.

Shout out to the open source Bitwarden project which includes this out of the box. Check out bitwarden_rs for a good sefhosted option.

Yea this is my thought. Any sizable project will have enough documentation to make this one page approach unwieldy IMO. MkDocs Material is all I'll ever need for documentation. https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-materia

This is cool, but is anyone aware of a system that is like GitHub/GitLab, but PR/MRs and commits are actually voted on by the community rather than a handful of maintainers? Something like the way DAOs are supposed to work, but ap
