Yes, it is absolutely conceivable to be anon developer, except for officially publishing in the Apple/Google/MS walled gardens. Then if you would want to accept donations or payments, anonymity is only possible with cryptocurrenci

So "excess profits tax" is fine - they say - except when applied to poor airlines? Turns out both Ryanair and Hungarian government are evil and anti-market.

You have it all backwards. The PoW is useful work because it helps secure my hard-earned savings against very high inflation my country is dealing with (I store my savings in Bitcoin). While many other (non-PoW) energy uses you have in mi

Get a better job ASAP. Passive income, to large extent, is self-help bullshit. Any business or investment requires attention. Once you secure "normal" income, save up in Bitcoin. This will at the very least protect your purchasing

This one is honest attempt in decentralization of IM: https://cwtch.im/ - worth supporting with donations because there is no token/ICO, no blockchain, and no bullshit from the author Sarah Jamie Lewis.

I love this website and the experiment. But you implying that more service downtimes is somehow progress of civilization is ridiculous. Civilization progress needs more reliability, not less.

Yes, there should be options. Not your keys, not your Bitcoin though! You can outsource to an exchange/bank but that gives you an IOU only, and not Bitcoin. The IOU is permissioned, censored, and prone to seizure.

1) Banks owning some Bitcoin does not imply Bitcoin needs banks. 2) Banks need Bitcoin though, because long-term everything else is going towards zero in Bitcoin terms.

Correct but efficacy of this process is pretty much irrelevant for the founders because the whole "fair distribution" is just a marketing gimmick to promote yet another shitcoin. Only losers will provide their real retinas. Smart
