most of the tire wear happens when car decelerates Is this generally true? I imagine it depends on the car/driver to a certain extent, but still I'd be curious what numbers are out there.

I guess they are saying that the sharper braking curve that is default on Teslas is going to cause more wear than a slower braking curve. The logic makes sense, but I have some doubt's that sharp regen breaking is more to blame for tir

As another data point, I've owned PHEVs and EVs for gosh 6 years now and I still prefer the "weak" regen with the Chevy paddle brake to modulate. Sometimes when I have a clear path, e.g. a down hill on a highway, I just throw

Leaf doesn't have active cooling nor CCS... That's a big reason they have to price it like that. I'd rather take a Toyota busy forks in the current market. Chevy Equinox is pretty good bang for buck too.

Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing and basically means that if you do something that might have a positive payoff in 5 years, you're basically doing an assist for the other side of the aisle. One party knows this and routinely passes

The voters punished his handling of the pandemic by rejecting a second term, then a few years later they sorta forgot what happened I guess or maybe didn't want to vote for a woman.

You can rotate them, although admittedly it can be more or less complicated depending on how your tooling compares to that of the secrets management system you are comparing against. You can't necessarily revoke a secret just because i

Okay, but that sounds like a very different situation than a small shop where encrypted secrets are committed to one file per-repo, and keys and secrets are rotated regularly.

But you can and should be rotating those secrets on some schedule regardless, and if you find out a key has been compromised you can immediately rotate the secrets.

That is when you are writing the values when using the chart though, right? Yeah that's not too hard. I was talking about the go templates that make up the actual chart. Ensuring they only use string values for annotations for example

For me it is the lack of content, the blandness of the statement. You can tell it is just saying vague statements that could be true if you substituted 14nm and 8nm for 4nm and 1.4nm.

The hotel chain probably had no input into the decision to add this. Hyatt is just a franchise for many hotels. Call up /email the chain's corporate folks and tell them about the charge and that you'll not stay in their chain

Ah, I must have met some lazy charts then. Thanks for the correction. Still, it seems like that schema would end up a little inconvenient to integrate into your editor for writing the templates...

Consuming one that is well written isn't too much pain, IME. But writing or modifying one can be really annoying. Aiui the values.yaml has no type schema, just vibes. The whole thing is powered off using text templating with yaml (a wh
