The design is ok. The interactions need some tweaks. The cursor should change to finger pointer on mouseover on code snippet. Probably it's better to highlight code snippet on mouseover before expanding it on click. The other issue i

And that's the problem. I do want to move away from MacOS but I don't see anything better yet. And there are a lot of useful apps unique to Apple's ecosystem and iCloud. Well, looks like I'm knee-deep in a vendor lock-in

Actually both Angular and React have it's place. I have to say here I absolutely hate Angular but it's a very good tool for Java developers in need of building some simple CRUD admin interface. Familiar concepts/vocabulary he

I have never seen him as "a very smart guy". The OSS projects he have built are not that complex. But he is persistent and vocal. And yes, he really likes to troll.

This is a typical Thomas Fuchs trolling. It shouldn't be taken serious. You won't get any constructive arguments from him anyway.

I get your point. One of my points is reading somebody else's code isn't for beginners. This looks aligned with your last sentence.

It doesn't look like a good approach to me. There are a lot of bad code out there and the only thing you can learn from it is how to write bad code. The important things are the right mindset, the ability to reason about code quality,

There is also genetic factor. Infant depression can happen in a perfectly fine family. Of course if parents don't know how to deal with this problem it will get worse. Education helps.

True. The only clear thing is that nothing is clear in this particular discussion branch. I'm ok with this but can't extract any useful information.
