I saw a recent version of cPanel that used ngnix as a proxy in front of Apache, with Apache on a high port. That might be responsible for a lot of the new ngnix seen out there.

It's easier now, for a while you had to unplug the network during setup.

Why would you doubt the situation has changed? Also, not fully double glazed would cover my current house which has one single glazed tiny bathroom window with an extractor fan in it.

I think 'Most' is a huge overstatement, the last house I lived in without it was a student dive in 1996.

I can only speak to Eset as it's the only one I am sure about, but it definitely does validate certs. I have screen grabs of validation errors because they were interesting.

If the alternative is not scanning ssl traffic for malware then perhaps if it's done correctly then it's not a bad compromise. For example a broken upstream cert should just be treated the same as if malware was detected. I bet go

With Eset you get a message explaining the issue, similar to if your connection was blocked because malware was detected. I don't think this practice is a big issue because the local machine would have to be compromised for it to be an

I have 150 ish machines on eset across a few different clients, obviously my experience with it has been very good over the years in all aspects. Eset don't offer the biggest margins but I stick with them because it doesn't cause

I use it, it's just fine. Doesn't feel like there's a lot to choose between it and chrome. I actually struggle to believe that people can easily tell small benchmark level speed differences between browsers reliably in real w

One of my clients got hit with this yesterday. Google suspended the account but only after a round of emails had gone out. Seems like at this point the perps are just harvesting credentials.

I found they way they've written it very confusing, like they were advertising 50 max IOPS, but that obviously made no sense.

That's not true any more, for recent transmissions. They can lock from first gear. E.g. ZF 8 speed, Mercedes 5,7,9 speeds.

Negative, current generation transmissions lock up from first gear.

Those things have not been true of automatics for the last two or three generations. They have clutches inside the torque converter, they can block shift. But it is only the latest generation of gearboxes that return better economy figures

Petrol in the UK is about 70% tax, although that's a tax on the consumer rather than the producerm but it would end up being the same thing.

Good. If your path to ritches involves circumventing laws to protect workers in order to pay them less and undercut the competition, then basically you are the reason these laws exist.

Incredible to think about the kind of systems that were available when the F16 was created compared to what it's flying with now.

I thought this changed from ext3 to ext4? I know I've run into this issue before and moving to ext4 was the easiest way to resolve it. Ext4 is much quicker at doing operations on very large directories too.

The way that makes most sense to think about this to me is in terms of dynamic compression. At full throttle the turbo is shoving a large mass of air into the cylinder for every firing. The compression ratio has to be fixed lower to control
