Depends what you're trying to achieve. Blockchain isn't meant as a decentralized storage network either, If my goal was to keep a photograph in perpetuity, I wouldn't necessarily even want to put it on a decentralized system

Why would you put a photograph on the blockchain directly? The chain is for transaction processing, stuff like proof of ownership. Want decentralized storage? Toss it on IPFS.

My sense is that smoking is related to changes in ACE2 expression in the lungs, which would have some effect on CoV-2.

No evidence of that there. Only that "current smokers were 80% more likely to be admitted to hospital and significantly more likely to die from Covid-19 if they became infected" -- did they control for other factors, that tend to

As someone who's out here building a web3 site (and is a heavy twitter user), I agree completely. Most of the twitter talking heads also have no clue what they're talking about, waxing on about grand visions when the first set of

While I agree that crypto is not compatible with financial legislation as written, in the sense of having a third party (the state) back up your assets, it's not necessarily incompatible with law itself. It wouldn't be shocking

The joke is that the only reason crypto wouldn't "survive" if unregulated is because they (the feds) would un-regulate it out of existence. ... This is kind of philosophically interesting in light of Giorgio Agamben's di

Discord is great because of community discoverability and ease of joining IMO. My main gripe with IRC is that I need to add a whole separate server with a separate login to access different channels (which is, ofc, a feature and not a bug).
