I believe Koushik Dutta (koush/clockworkmod) signs adb drivers for this reason. You may want to doublecheck the inf to see if your device's usb VID/PID are listed.

The 14 EUR Open Source Code Signing product can't be used to sign drivers. It's typically for signing your MSI's and miscellaneous executables before distribution.

My understanding was that there's a signed TrustZone binary that's more or less an ELF that runs in secure mode.

My first impression when I saw it was something along the lines of "this would be so much cleaner if one were writing this as a dnsmasq config"

I'm guessing some sort of crude malware tried to MitM Facebook logins so they started cleaning host files?

Have you tried throwing the raw recording against SoX? Worked pretty well when I had an unknown recording to play for which I had guessed the format. (Which turned out to be IMA-ADPCM with reversed byte ordering)

The Intel CPU's with unlocked multi's have had VT-D for a couple iterations now. They're still useless if you have zero plans to overclock. (Even more so now they don't even come with stock coolers anymore.)

Last I heard, these tainted drivers from FTDI weasled their way through WHQL and into Windows Update...

It wouldn't surprise me if someone were to use this to effectively share a licensing dongle. Although I'd imagine latency might be an issue.

I don't think that was really an option in this case as his CA just went and published the logs without asking the users first?

They mention that it works with larger screen sizes, but I wonder what kind of problems could appear at the smaller end. The detail on some of those prints they're showing off in the pictures and video look decent though, none of those

A little bit of digging shows a 2014 BMW i3 claiming to run 2.6.32-28 in it's licences section.(STLinux) However on the other hand there are numerous references of it having Tegra in media too...

Sounds suspiciously like this hardware quirk[0] that was only supposed to affect Hawaii/Bonaire... Guess it's a little more widespread. Easily fixed, I guess[1]. Then again Nvidia cards have their own set of horrible problems too,

Last time I checked you could turn off the wifi scanning, easily. As for the "deep integration", I believe that just means they configured the screen-off hotword (which uses the Qualcomm hexagon adsp).
