Institutional UI/UX departments always seem to overthink this stuff and get it wrong. I would love it if there was a rulebook we could reference so this sort of thing isn't always a battle.

I assume the tech is better in the tesla. Despite its issues, isn't autopilot better than the adas systems of similarly priced used/new cars?

It sounds like they actually did something like this. Their shard key selection could be customer, project, folder or something in their data model at a reasonably high logical level in their hierarchy.

Do we really still need such a giant TSA? What would it take to reduce the scanning burden per passenger? The existing process is basically "security theater" anyway.

Sure, but isn't that mostly a theoretical issue or only problematic if the device is used at the limit of it's specification? I haven't heard any stories of water damaged iPhones recently. I've had my iPhone XS and 12 un

Anybody in NYC notice the large amount of people not paying for the bus or subway? It seems optional for a great number of people. I wonder how many people in the average MTA bus have actually paid.

I’m still shocked they renamed HBO max. HBO has to be one of the strongest premium brand names around. There’s clearly something wrong going on in the organization. Perhaps it’s a debt issue after the merger with discovery.

Seems like that refresh rate could be slowed down significantly. Heck, if its an existential issue for the app they could cut the mailbox status completely.

That's not the disgusting part. It's the assumption by banks that they will be bailed out (by us) for their bad investments if the investments are large enough.

I'm assuming 90% of these API requests are reads. Is there a reason Apollo couldn't develop an intermediate proxy server and cache all the responses for a short period of time? I assume that would cut the API usage significantly a

Sorry to ask for a source, but is that actually true? I'm pretty sure they are covered. I would be interested in opening an account and filing a complaint against them if they aren't treating PII or PHI in a compliant manner.

Wow, I just tried and it’s very easy. Seems like a huge miss of privilege escalation allowing someone with the pin and phone to escalate to full password. This should require the old password or more steps.

I assume this "AI" is nothing like the neural networks that have made such great strides recently. A lot of pre-programmed boolean logic.
