I've seen an ad for GTA5 for iOS and Android (obvious scam) on Facebook, and thousands of people liking, and hundreds of comments, most seemed organic, of people tagging their friends. Copyright infringement + scam, right there on Face

It's not only squashing interop. with iMessage. It's also a way to squash spam and whatnot from iMessage.

I'm not talking about that compression, I'm talking about dynamic range compression.

Considering the awful compressed audio that goes with ads, it's a good thing. I could stand ads and TV if it weren't for the blasting audio.

Normal. There were people selling apps that bought iMessage to other platforms, by using VMs in servers running the desktop App and using the scripting functionality.

Completely wrong. UIWebViews can render your modified HTML. There are many Apps that do that, and Google already did that, with their data compression feature.

Exactly. If anything, this is not a problem of freedom of speech. This is an old legal problem: "the rich have money to pay the lawyers and the poor don't". But in this case, Hulk Hogan is 100% right, and Thiel is doing socie

I don't care, most publications today post whatever their "advertisers" want. Ventriloquism are the correct words, if you ask me. There's no such thing as press today.

For the sake of sanity, IBM was the company with most patents awarded last year. Is it that difficult to admit that they are well enough? If it were household names like Google or Apple, would help?

Also Amazon has their store as the killer feature, Apple has HomeKit as the killer feature. What does Google have? I don't care about search results, they never work automatically, they don't work in a voice only environment. If y

Yeah? I would like to see a scientific comparison between Apple, Qualcomm and Intel... I bet that if Apple or Qualcomm wanted, they could create a desktop ARM that would be a generation ahead of Intel.

Apple doesn't use swift because they already have stable versions of their Apps written in Objective C and there's no reason to rewrite everything in swift because they can mix ObjC and Swift.

How much RAM does a single hello world take in C#? How much time does it take to create a thread in mono on my Linux VM? How much does it cost a license for Visual Studio?
