They do this already in SF. It's the worst. You're not demonstrating anything. You're just pissing off commuters.

As someone who bought the original DX the first day it was announced, it's not something you want to use for PDFs. You want something that is in color and something that you can easily pinch/zoom/pan with. E-ink is possibly the WORST platfo

I mean this in the nicest way possible - not as a troll. The site needs checkboxes for 'are you young and innocent' and 'are you single and/or do you not care about your family and personal free time' Those are two huge requirements for mos

This touches on a lot of points I believe in as well. Nothing worthwhile is easy. I have 3 kids, a wife and a dog. I'm involved with two ~3 person start ups and work about 10-11 hours a day, 6 days a week.

I realized this is getting downvoted because I didn't put it up in the IRC thread, where I originally attempted. An uptight taddle-tale handles something poorly in IRC. Completely textbook.

I'll never look at my Galant VR4's suspension the same again. I knew it was old and bad, but this really drives that point home.

Another tip for using WITH on MSSQL - prefix it with semicolon like this: ;WITH MSSQL makes it so that people pick up bad habits over the years and often you'll find missing semicolons at the end of statements. While the parser will intelli

This is a pretty fair deal. As the sole income for a family of 5 in the bay area, these kind of perks are good. Well, not that it matters for me anymore. No more kids for us!!!

Yeah, they don't like it when your answer is "everything" to the question, "What did you do at _____?". I've since changed it to "Everything, but tell me what you're looking for and I'll tell you about my experiences in that realm."

Do you have to make hundreds of millions of dollars to hit a home run? There are different kinds of home runs, my young friends. Straightaway center field at the polo grounds was 483 ft. Wrigley is 353 down the right field line.

Archery? Bay Area? Man. I'm going to look at the local google maps aerial shots and note houses with dog runs and avoid walking by 'em now. Thanks! Carry on.

Coincidentally I can't sleep longer than 8.5 hours (no matter what) and if I get 4.5 hours of sleep or less I'm absolutely worthless. I'd have qualified for the study if it wasn't for that damn athletic requirement!

The Tie Advanced had shields and an incredible top speed. It was amazingly overpowered. Fun, though. Tie Fighter and XWing had some of the best expansions of any game, ever.

I've love to grab a bike at Embarcadero or Montgomery BART and ride it to near pier 39, where I work. I'd even return it in the evening. I'm not sure about having to make it available at some designated spot, though. Use the GPS!

The thing I'm most jealous of in this article are the times. Mine is set at 5:45 and not too long ago, 4:45. These times let you squeeze in some early morning progress before the kids get up. Most of the time.
