Am I not in on the joke? Here's a magic 8 ball prediction: wearable stuff will bomb. All they can do is tell me if I walked or not. I KNOW IF I WALKED OR NOT. If I wanted to walk more I'd get another dog, not a watch. I also like

I kind of like the syntax. I've been trying to learn erlang this year. When I put on my "erlang hat" - I think it's kind of like Bo Jackson leaving the baseball field and preparing to play football. It's just wildly

The return has been alright. I've backed some cool stuff and some so/so things and some... uhh... controversial things. Here are a few, I'm not going to attach any labels: FTL - http://www.ftlgame.com/ Waste

Is there a club for people like us? I, too, do a bunch of work at two startups. I'm in the same exact situation, in fact. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, I'm another person whose only class was on a manual typewriter. 7th grade, 1992ish. I'm at 85 wpm 100% accuracy, 130 wpm if I omit capitalization and punctuation. (and let the word processor pick it up)

Maybe most people on here aren't car guys, but I'm cruising the current cars they have up for sale on the site and every single one seems overpriced to me. The G series MB seems interesting, but I trust a used MB about as far as I

I was thinking the same thing. Yet another product that I can't use for couch surfing. More people need to copy the old HP stuff where you used the bezel for navigation and commands.

You... wouldn't use a taxi, but you'd use Uber? Why? Cars aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Any kind of subscription business won't work in the 'burbs and beyond, which is the majority of the country. SF reality d

How are the K-12 public schools in Pittsburgh? Everyone seems interested to move somewhere and rent a one bedroom.

I just started playing this for the first time last night. I'm playing the Wii U HD edition. It looks amazing, and one of the first things that stood out to me was the red cloth on the spears. I spent about 5 minutes in a barrel last n

It's a huge pet peeve of mine, but why do people present network maps of these huge distributed things featuring ONE SINGLE load balancer in front of it all!?

Try not to take this as snark, but aren't hackers early adopters that do things on their own? What's the point of a hackers guide to a thing that has been a thing for years?!

As someone who works a 40 hr/week job and a 20 hr/week job, (and the extra hours associated with learning various things that apply to each) while also having 3 kids, sometimes people are actually busy. I coach little league, too.

Not even $40 1Gbps internet would get me to put up with the traffic required to get to and from Brentwood. Highway 4 is the pits. What a strange place to launch a service.
