Me, personally, my wealth is in the my wood scrap storage in the loft of my shop. Great returns on investments this year alone!!! Cash under the mattress is now antiquated. It's all about lumber, baby.

Yep. You can blow peoples minds in ANY LANGUAGE by using print debugging sometimes. It's amazing, but true. At least it's been that way for the ~25 years I've been doing it. You think you're here? Let's put a few pr

That’s the one I use. Comes in handy coaching youth sports. Only problem is you end up tying everybody’s shoes until you teach them all this knot. One of my players taught her dad and his mind was blown.

The worst part of this is that software is typically a collaboration. It's fine to want to work just enough to provide for whatever it is you want to provide for. Morally (I guess?) it's not right to drag a bunch of teammates down

As far as I can tell California is slowly coming back on to classroom schooling. I've heard mixed messages depending on the district. My kids play travel ball so my Facebook feed is full of people all over the north part of the state a

This is a relatively recent thing. I didn't learn any of the things that my children had to learn in Kindergarten.

Something like that, correct. According to the tech specs you have "Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless" and Bluetooth as options. The hyperspeed thing is what causes system interrupts out the wazoo.

Am I in the minority that I don't want to see updates monthly for a desktop application? It seems like every time I launch paint.net, for example, it wants to update. I don't want to update! I want to edit an image.

Yep! I have a Jabra headset and I picked up a fancy newish Razer mouse that uses 2.4. Very odd system interrupt behavior slows the whole system down. I changed the mouse over to bluetooth and the problem goes away. It's not as EXXXXXXT

I just moved back to Arkansas after being in California for 20 years. Here's a picture a local took along AR highway 59. 7 bald eagles hanging out. https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/155912289_4304.

I don’t trust VW. Maybe because my first car was a 70.5 Baja Bug. Maybe I’m gulping the kool-aid but I want a 500 mile range truck! My current line up is a minivan, an 11 mpg land cruiser, and a Chevy Volt.

We'll see how it goes with Stadia. I think it's a fairly terrible product. Google doesn't keep things like it alive for very long.

Most people I know use Discord like IRC during the day. Voice chat if and when they play games. Or big events, like election night or big sporting events. It's not all voice chat all the time.

Heat pumps list that temperature in the documentation of the unit. I think most of the midwest figured this out during the recent cold snap. It turns out the cut off for my heat pump is 10F. I'm in the process of finalizing the install

My 8 and 10 year olds give out their Roblox user names to friends. Most recently at a softball tournament, my little short stop traded names with a few players that she befriended on other teams. I'm not sure if there is any grand mean
