It depends on how many applications you use very regularly. Games pretty much get old as you complete them. When it comes to the rest of the apps, I doubt an average person buys more than a few bucks worth of non-game apps. smartphone costs

It's sad that every time the authors chose to compare the phone they compared it with iPhone 4S instead of comparing it with any of the newer phones out there in the market such as Lumia 920 or GSIII. That is like taking a page from Apple's

The one in Windows phone acts up much more consistently then. The back button takes you to the previous screen in the app until you get to the home screen and then it takes you back to the page where you launched the app from.

This is still a recent development. It never had this originally. Besides going by the ugly apps, it hasn't had much impact so its ineffective at best.

From reading the article, there is no reason why Android was chosen specifically. So this experiment could have been done with any modern smartphone out there, they just happen to choose a couple of android phones. Is that right?

What is neat about metro (ooops windows 8 style) apps is that you get the whole canvas by design to play with. The pattern that controls are out of sight when you don't need them is really neat.

and this is why the Surface device sounds so exciting. iPad hasn't been exploited as a productivity device yet. With Microsoft's stronghold on productivity market, this should be interesting.

Yes. It's Motorola suing Apple and Not Google. Google, the current owner of Motorola has nothing to do with this. Just like Romney had nothing to do with what the other executives at Bain Capital did.

When you say neutral solutions, you are assuming that the API developed by Apple and Microsoft can only be accessed from these platforms. I know that that's not true at least for SkyDrive API. Given these why would I choose a neutral API?

what makes you say that? Labels were originally pure labels like tags but now they have added sub-labels and nested labels which is basically the same thing as folders. So they are calling them labels but have basically abandoned that conce
