Well, only sort of: GPS is the initialism for a specific system (and QZSS provides corrections for that particular system's satellites, among other things), not a generic term for global navigation satellite systems. Had it said "

With orbit and clock corrections delivered to the receiver in ~real time (such as Fugro's G2), you'll get <10cm (95%) on a standalone receiver.

Weirdly, I have the complete opposite experience with dojo. The streamlined AMD loading makes it really easy to write modularized, structured projects and build it into release bundles. The store concept and compliant widgets are excellent,

Seconded. xdebug and the vim plugin "vdebug" ( https://github.com/joonty/vdebug ) work like a charm.

Interesting. The newly established Norwegian Pirate Party ( http://piratpartiet.no/ ) will also be running in the parliamentary election this September.

Apologies for replying without an answer, but I'd love to know this as well. Additionally, how/where is the hardware produced? I'd gladly pay twice this and more for full openness software/hardware/ethics-wise.

Off topic: The ultra light custom fonts a lot of websites use nowadays (looks like "Bariol" on this site), do they look bad to anyone other than me? Both in Firefox and Opera (Linux) many of the lines are invisible or barely visible (exampl

That's not JSON though, it's executable Javascript. This whole issue is (was) about Arrays accidentally becoming executable Javascript. To elaborate: Let's say I have a data API http://bank/sensitiveData which returns JSON: ["bmjs", "

This is a very old blog post, it's probably a good idea to add (2007) to the title to avoid confusion. AFAIK, the ability to override the Array constructor has been fixed in all modern browsers. Here's a blog post by John Resig about the sa

Thanks for this post! I too have Crohn's (and ankylosing spondylitis), but I had not heard of Modulen before. I also very much share the sentiments of the article author, so I'm a bit bummed to hear you found it to be a terrible experience.

Very interesting. From the specs it seems like a hefty step up from the cheap dealextreme DVB stick.

Since it would be post processing anyway, one could possibly also make use of corrections from IGS ( http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/components/prods.html ) (or similar) to get extremely precise tracks. Quite nifty.

I too do this, and sometimes compulsively drag large portions of highlighted text around as well. Annoyingly, Opera seems to open in new tabs any links in the highlighted area when the dragged text is released. This has led to me up/down vo

I've always wondered why the platform Blender uses hasn't turned into a generic UI toolkit or even window manager. Granted, Blender itself is rather overwhelming at first glance, but you only have to spend a few minutes with it to fall in l

I'd love to see a vim plugin that uses (for example) V8 to provide code completion for large "pure" Javascript projects (in a similar vein as clang_complete for C++). Has anyone come across something like that?

Most people I talk to seem to think QtCreator is only any good if you're developing Qt applications. Not so! It's imho actually a marvellous IDE for any C++ project. The debugger is allright, and the auto complete / code navigation is excel

Looks very nice - Amarok has been my favorite music player for years now. Lately I've been using more and more of the online streaming services, however (Spotify, Grooveshark, Wimp etc.). I hope future music players will have the ability to
