I understand your frustration, I guess the question is if they try and cater for too many preferences would it ultimately compromise the focus of the product? It's very similar to the original 'too-soon' shift to USB on the i

I think the negative reaction to the new MacBook Pro seems excessive. The only real objections I have are the increase in price and the new keyboard though I'm open minded that I'll get used to that. Apple like to make slim, light

This is a bizarre comparison. The Surface Studio is not in competition with the MacBook Pro. It's closest analogue is something like the iPad Pro with a stand I guess. Apple will not be making a direct competitor to the Surface Studio

Is Rust performance comparable with C++ yet? Last time I looked it was similar to Go. One of the things that C++ offers is an optimisation route where performance is really important.

Tabs beat spaces in every single way; Spaces look the same in whatever application you might be using to view a source file, be it any number of random command line tools, or fully fledged IDEs.

While I agree that GJK is more useful for typical collision detection scenarios, I was of the impression that the OBB/OBB collider function in ODE/Bullet can generate multiple contacts, while GJK is limited to one. Is that correct

The convex hull will represent the geometry more accurately than an OBB because it can have >8 points and doesn't have to be cuboid. So the collisions will be more representative.

If people use downvoting to express disagreement, that means that unpopular opinions are suppressed. I don't see that as a good thing. Downvoting because a post is rude or factually inaccurate is fine though.

There are many applications that either aren't typically IO bound, or where the IO (eg. gpu<->memory) is fast enough that you'll likely need C++ to maximise performance. Writing software that pushes bleeding edge hardware is
