I’ll bite. We’re expanding into Europe. I literally copied and pasted our entire infrastructure into a new folder named “Europe” Now there’s a new requirement that only applies to Europe and nowhere else and it’s super easy and straight for

AG oversees utilities and are granted regulatory powers because they are effectively monopolies. Explain clearly and reasonably your claim and you will likely see action and response.

Trump feels Biden gave intel billions for nothing. Trump feels he’s balanced the scales by getting 10% of Intel. Trump gets to spin it as getting 10% of Intel for nothing. Win win for Trump.

Also why neurodiverse people often make exceptional managers. The neurology often results in good systems thinking. The diversity results in lifelong disciplined improvement of social interactions.

For what it’s worth I’m neurodivergent, introverted and have avoided management up to the staff+level. Claude Code is great I use it all day every day now.

To be fair, he says in TFA he wants to recruit like a cult. I don’t know many cult leaders who care about their followers, so at least he’s honest if not psychopathic in the way he says he’s going to abuse you before he does so.

I’m excited to shoot my own music videos with my iPhone now. Last weekend my grade school friend visited and we took a boat out on Puget Sound. We followed two orca whales for 45 minutes and I shot multiple videos of them in 4k 60fps. They

I’ve also felt what GP expresses earlier this year. I am a grey-beard now. When I was starting my career in the early 2000’s a grey-beard told me, “The tech is entirely replaced every 10 years.” This was accompanied by an admonition to ev

You’re not thinking two or three orders out. It’s not about the modem, it’s about reducing the resource allocation of a boring component to make space for increasing the resources of other exciting components, taking the whole into account.

For the switches I'm considering replacing them all with 2.5gbit but don't see the need to yet. Currently I have a TL-SG1016DE as the core switch. The main proxmox servers are 3 used Dell 1U servers I bought from Ebay. Each has

Are you a ubiquiti employee who can see internal posts perhaps? There’s no such post on the public discussion. The only two instances of “fixed” on the page are people expressing hope it will someday be fixed.

I've moved on from Ubiquiti access points as well. Their U6 simply does not handle VLANs properly, they never acknowledged the issue let alone fixed it. See https://community.ui.com/questions/U6-IW-how-to-trunk-a

We’ve been able to buy used OptiPlex 3060 or 3070’s for about $100 for years now and they tick all the boxes for Plex and QuickSync. Only two NVME and one SATA slot though, so maybe not ideal for a NAS but definitely fits the power and the
