Everyone did see it coming. Interviews of experts on TV, talked about at the coffee table at every industry in the west. But since the stockmarket demands constant growth we have to move production to china. And when the move is done, the C

I'm usually looking at people when they type on keyboards. When I was young (1985) most people that had to type, knew how to touch type. Then came a phase where it was hunt and peck when the computers showed up and everyone had to use

We learned typewriter in school, I think it was around 85-89. Most of the typewriters where completely mechanical and to erase you either had a fluid you painted over the character to delete, waited for a few seconds to dry and then could t

We as a society need to step down our high horses. All jobs have a purpose without which our society would not be what it is today, good or bad.

My old computer started burning in some internal cabling about 30 years ago. Turns out our power wasn't 230 V when the power company came and set up a machine to make a graph. Some times of the day it could be much lower and that made

My brother is so old I changed toners twice. Still no paper jams. Saw too many customers with HP printers with problems so stayed away from those.

I was always envious of the people with 1200 baud modems... I had a 300 without dialer so had to use a phone to dial the number, wait for the answer and flip a switch for the modem to take over :-)

I find it easier to write the documentation first, mark it as "not implemented yet" and then do the code. Added benefit if people accidentally stumbles on the documentation and have suggestions before the code is written :-)

Try the settings in the player, it has loads of soundfonts to try, they all sound very different. If it's a midi file, it all depends on what sound card or installed soundfont you had at that time.
