In the 90-ies I was told to figure out what was wrong with the big radiocontrolled port at a local industry. I don't remember what was wrong with it but after digging in the manual and the equipment I realized the whole factory was pro

I think they spend extra time creating those backward compatibility problems just to make it harder to create a perfect third-party tool. [1] https://www.infoworld.com/article/2618153/how-microsoft-was-...

The Pi needs a bit more power than most USB powerplugs deliver, did you get any warnings about underpower? The SD Card corruptions are often caused by this.

As also a swede I find some keys are forgotten in the swedish layout. The letters aren't in our alphabet but that does not mean we don't use ü, é, à and such. And I find no way of doing dead keys in Thumb-key. Maybe there will be

The problem was that the floppy was empty after the library computer touched it :-) Oh, and I had enough problems with floppies loosing data too. Especially the newer disks, the older ones were better but the new packages I could throw 10-2

Yeah, you really know where your data is. I have fond memories of saving documents to a floppy, walking to the library to print only to find an empty floppy disk. Going back home, formatting it, saving again, doublechecking in a friends dri

35-40 years ago I had to switch to left because of too much strain on the right hand. I was very happy when I found a way to mirror my cursor. Am back to right hand now though.

Ah yes, we don't get that often here. It's mostly dry cold. When it's humid some clothes quickly just becomes ice cakes and have no function any more.

My commute is about 20 minutes on bike. At -35 C I passed 5 cars in parking lots with the hood up and in best case jumper cables from neighbour cars. There were a lot of cars that just didn't start any more.

You don't live where it gets really cold I take it. After about three breaths your nose is a block of ice and don't warm up anything at all.

We discussed this among ourselves when in kindergarthen and school while doing the mandatory skiing classes. The most sensitive part is the nose so you breath out there to warm it up. Less dripping nose as long as you can keep it up. If you

Temperatures can be extremely variated in very short distances depending on where the cold air gets stuck and where it moves away. Just now when I did my evening ride I had to stop after 5 km and put on goggles after the temp went down 10 d

I'm using Lungplus version that works with something similar to design 1 and have no problem with drowsyness at all. The benefit of breathing warm moisturized air outweighs the very small amount of stale air. I measure it to about 25 m

I'm sorry to hear that, I can only too well imagine how it's like. I'm just like you but several notches better and 20 years older and no diabetes. It helped a lot to start biking and I'm getting better and better thanks

The lungplus can be worn between your teeth and compresses nicely if you have an accident. But spit it out is ofcourse better if you have the chance.

I also live in a cold climate. I get very bad eye problems below -15 C. at -10 I can handle just using my normal glasses but below -15 I need goggles. At -20 I put on a balaclava with goggles on top. It all depends on your age and medical p

Thanks for the confirmation, this is what I have seen talked about for a long time. I'm so sad for all those artists bound to big labels. Believe the pirates are costing them money when they could be their biggest advertisement board.
