Can someone enlighten me. What happened in 1995 that let Netscape to grab the majority of the market share that Mozaic has in the past year (1994)? I was still a child at that time and I'm curious what happen.

If that's the case, can a founder who failed in the dotcom era repeats his idea and might be successful?

I agree with the first answer. I'm not a fan of unit testing. I'm just doing it because it's a requirement (and we still have no QA). Why I'm not a fan? Because I'm doing my own tests. And probably it has a bias all over it. I know when it

I'm reading TechCrunch regularly before entering the startup scene. Nowadays, I'm not reading it like before. TechCrunch may provide misleading information for some. But when you're in a "startup" situation, you know will know what is right

Good catch. Maybe those entrepreneurs she's talking about are those who have pretty good savings, benefits, or retirement pays. But a paragraph in her article said... "Many older adults are having difficulty becoming re-employed. On averag

I'm happy that there are people in their late ages still doing entrepreneurship. But I wonder how are they managing the life of an entrepreneur with a family to feed, bills to pay, and age related issues (like energy decline). As I know lif

This guy inspired me. I'm just reading about Stripe a while ago and I don't know the founder is just 22! I'm 20, and I think I need to rush some things. I don't want to be late.

I'm also inclined to that answer. But a quick thought though. Isn't art is inspired by imagination? Which is if "art is inspired by need", it maybe be just a need based from imagination. Maybe not a really a need.

I'm really wondering if technology just happens because there's a need, or just because it was based / inspired on art, movies, etc.

If you will ask me, my answer is no. I'm living in a region / country wherein LTE is still "not there yet". I'm buying this phone because it's cheap. I don't mind the lack of LTE because it's still somewhat useless in my country.

I think you might want to choose Nexus 4 because it's the cheapest. As I read, they have specs as close to each other. But if you think without having an LTE is a deal breaker, Nexus 4 is not a good phone for you.

That's right! I'm buying this phone because of its price. It's cheap compared to other phones with the same specs. The lack of LTE is not really a setback to me (and I think to all others that live in a third world country). LTE is almost "
