Maybe switching to RSS? If you know what sources you want, then you pretty much have ultimate control of what you're reading. Though I guess if you want things organized by topic across sites that won't work.

I've seen performances where the live coding is just them building those same modular synths just digital. They start with a patch, and know what patch they need to end in. Everything between is up to them. Wish I had a better look at

I used to have this complaint until I saw someone do it well. The key is that can't be all their doing. One guy I saw was doing it at audience level while also being in the pit and moshing. Not sure I'll ever see anything like tha

I think part of the issue is just... habit. We know how email works because email has always worked like that. But twitter is not that environment currently works like that so people getting confused is sort of understandable. Honestly whic

Except even that tool sucks. I can't even use the list to filter for things that are say... less then 1k users, have an uptime of 95% or higher, and have A+ grade HTTPs. Whatever A+ HTTPS that means, it's also not explained on tha

TS100 was first. I believe the Pinecil also takes TS100 tips. I've liked the Pinecil except sometimes mine crashes in the middle of me soldering. I need to update the OS but I'm lazy. It does fail cold (Says it's hot but it&#

Threads are pretty new and also just... not well put in. Slack's threading is much better in that regard. The use of threads in almost every case I've seen seems to be more of a subchannel thing. Example, if your server has a tech

I was always surprised at how good the one wheel after market parts stuff was. Like you could replace almost everything besides the front foot pad, brains, and motor. I guess most of it is just injected molded plastic bolted on with screws

I think Autotune just happened to popup at the same time the real "issue" pops up. In the 70s,80s, even 90s you had finite music. There's only so much time on a radio station, only so much space in the store. Small labels exi

I've moved 13 times in the last 12 years. Books are really heavy. I used to have two boxes large boxes of them but over time that's wittled down to one. What I keep are two things: Stuff that's hard to read on an ereader, or

Badly transcoded mp3s are the worst. For most artists I couldn't tell the difference between a v2 and a flac. There were a few who you could but they're mostly not what people are listening to (intentionally very noisy artists). R

There's a few in the store near me that are basically just normal lanes with the cashier area flipped around. They're great other then the fact you just halved the amount of scanning/bagging work power you have.

Not sure it's faster. I worked as a cashier for awhile at a grocery store. A 2 person team, one scanning/keying in items and one bagging, is a ton faster then you doing it all yourself. Customers who would do this were great. The
