About two years ago I was fast-tracked to interviews at Apple via recommendation. About 9 interviews later over 4 spread-out days, I was told I had done quite well during the interview process. Eventually I was not given the position becaus

Honestly I think this is the most spot-on answer. While I can try to adopt these new habits, they will only work in situations where I try them. What about with relationships? I got adderrall to deal with school, but I've since nicknamed

Thanks for the input. I've wondered about whether the engineering route is for me. Sometimes I view it as something I dislike less than everything else. Generally I really like building and designing things, but unfortunately many of the

I'm reaching out here because I really need some advice. This is a great thread, but I think it only semi-applies to me. I am 24 years old, and I seriously struggle with motivation to do... just about anything. I have a midterm tomorrow i

Yes, it is very much technology-related. I'm about 1.5 - 2 years from degree in engineering, which among other things would be very useful here as well. I haven't really done any engineering while here since I'm still learning, though I ha

I definitely am not absolutely critical to the success of this company, and I realize this, but losing me would still hurt them. It's really the experience and knowledge I have with them that's valuable to them, and that would be hard to r

The engineering company wasn't ever really going to get 'big.' This employee went to work for them as an intern just as I did. The startup is less than a year old, and it has the potential to get big. ALL of our efforts have migrated to t
