The Soviet Union might've been poor, but it wasn't destitute. The issue with the Soviet system (and I believe socialism in general) is that individuals are discouraged from solving problems and offering those solutions to other pe

We don't need (many) carbs either, yet it's the biggest part of our diet and has been for a long time. We still call it a nutrient.

It makes sense that controlling your breathing would help with asthma. After all, asthma is triggered by stressing your airways. If you can somehow do it less then that will help. I find it odd that this isn't taught to everyone who su

I have severe doubts about something like this being able to heal asthma. It very likely helps against asthma attacks and when it's triggered, but asthma in general is an allergic reaction. Slow breathing can help control it by limitin

I wish more parents bought their kids drawing tablets. Kids try out all kinds of things, but it's hard to try out something that you don't have the equipment for. Sure, drawing on paper is a possibility, but it's not quite th

I doubt that's true now, but it could've been something like that when UE4 released. The story went that he'd started work on it almost a decade before the release of the engine.

Mobile games in some sense have taken over gaming. They're not as flashy, but the amount of money some of them seem to generate is obscene. Just take a look at NCSoft's income and how mobile Lineage crushed all of their other offe
