iOS has gotten less intuitive over the years. It can do everything you're having trouble with, though. There's a quick settings menu that's pretty similar to the one in Android. You can get to it by pulling down from the top

I'm factoring in performance. The 1065G7 has a similar power profile to the M1 but it's much slower - both perceptually and in benchmarks. I like Passmark as a quick and dirty comparison tool, and it has the M1 at 1.7x the 1065G7,

I said ARM is vastly more efficient than x86, not previous implementations of ARM. You can see this in action in the new MacBooks, which do indeed have like 4x the battery life of the x86 versions.

Nothing's different, this is the culmination of the last decade's work. These changes are slow, but ARM is now as fast or faster than x86 in several contexts while being vastly more efficient, and looks likely to continue improvin

I guess that’s fair, it’s used both ways in different contexts. I most associate the word with its use in universities, in which “x program/department has been defunded” means that it’s gone. There’s only one definition of “open border

This is definition shifting, no? "Open Borders" means open borders, i.e. no quotas. Like how "Defund the Police" means stop paying for and therefore disband police forces. Proponents of these slogans often explain that t

There are a lot of differences, some of which cause more discomfort than others. Color and contrast are two smaller ones; VR headsets aren't HDR yet and it really shows when trying for realism. There is also focal length, which is fixe

Yes, season 4 has the exact same budget per episode and the same production company/crew as the other seasons. Amazon doesn't have anything to do with perceived changes (I thought 4 was still good and 5 was great).

How incredibly bitter, you'd think tourists killed his mother. Some of the points hold true but others have changed since the 50s: guided tours and hotels are much less in vogue than they were and the advent of internet reviews applied

There are all kinds of cataclysms that would end humanity on Earth while leaving Mars untouched. Global nuclear war, asteroids, and solar flares are three relatively likely ones that come to mind.

Interesting. To me, Mars is a large rock in a universe of large rocks, but it could be our second home (even if it is done for profit). In conversations like this I often consider this comic: https://www.smbc-comics.com/comi

Oh, I meant on the rover. From googling, it seems the helicopter's design lifetime is too short for radiation damage to matter, and the cameras actually on the rover are rad-hardened to some degree.

You'd think so, and some printers like the Prusa Mini use newer 32-bit controllers, but a lot of the most popular models (other Prusas, most Creality models, etc.) use the ATmega 2560, which is an 8 bit controller that came out in 2006
