That is why we have recipes for both variants, so I would say do both. Both ways of preparation have their merit. BTW, enjoyability is an important and underestimated factor in nutrition. (Unfortunately abused by the food industry.)

I know a lot of professional option traders who understand options and markets without knowing the exact math. Don't ask them about brownian motion, but they know very well how to trade implied vs realized vols and skew.
