I know, but I still wonder about level of soundproof/mechanical vibration and the level of mic and camera sensor isolation VS level of optical vibration. In addition sound can travel many different paths since it is mechanical vibratio

I am just worried that they are picking up part of information from camera mic. Maybe camera mic output is not totally independent from the video sensor, and is encoded in the final video.

Very nice article, it resonated with me. It seems that talented people have a great burden, which comes in form of often asking yourself "have you done enough with all the talents you have?". It seems to be quite common, and it ev

This article resonated with me, and I agree with the main points. It is interesting to look at etymology [1] of the word passion. It goes along the lines of suffering, etc. Why would anyone recommend to anybody to go and suffer? Unless it i

Thanks for the reference. Are you aware of any (commercially available) handdrawing to CAD software? I need to do a bunch of relatively simple figures for my thesis, and it would be much easier if I could just use handdrawings and than tran

For example does PyPy always warm up, or can it store "warmed up" version of some function (where type of objects is inferred)? I know that this is not in accordance with highly dynamic nature of Python, but not all functions are highly dyn

Can someone knowledgeable compare PyPy, Numba and Cython? I mostly use Cython. Tried Numba also, it has very nice workflow when it works with autojit (when it doesn't error messages are pretty cryptic). With PyPy I don't understand why for

Is it possible to use similar algos for meshing (used in finite element analysis)? Shape recognition wouldnt be needed as the first step, since CAD files are input in FEA.

Thanks for the link. I also like minimalism, I can say that it is my favorite style in modern classical music. Found this little clip while I was preparing my music history exams few years ago, it really explains Philip Glass nicely :) htt

I never quite understood why music went this way. My take is that, as always, musicians had to have some kind of sponsorship, and it slowly shifted from musician being sponsored by noble family (for example Liszt and Esterhazy) to getting a
