Me too, I use source-code-pro almost everwhere (I have problems making it stick with AppleScript because I use different editors I believe). I love it.

It was a long thread but it was worth it. It was very interesting and thought provoking to read so many peoples biases, and insights. I am ready to start implementing tests, and I think that as was stated above, tautological unit tests has

I agree totally. I must say, that I have seen typeless declarations in code, but I do find them to be a nuisance. Adding (id) to a declaration isn't really that hard, and makes the code a lot more radable. Why raise the treshold for t

Hello. The keybindings file I use in OS X for simulating some Emacs behaviour, was too long to be saved as a comment. Below are references for how to make Emacs like shortcuts that works through the whole OS X, at least through all programs

Well, someone thinks the article was important enough to give it a catchy title, so that somebody else could leverage upon it. It was old, but it at least pointed out a theme that still holds some validity. I like getting injections of know

Well. Objective-C isn't that simple to begin with, but when you are used to it, it really provides elegant and very simple solutions to medium complex stuff like key-value observing and coding. Meditated together they are called bindin

I agree in that it is nothing wrong, and everything about every aspect of it has been said. I am a great fan of using SO when I get those "W t f " (ha ha ha I discovered some word completion) moments. So, then I at least get some

My two cents is to point to an analogy with the economies of under developed countries: The more debt you have, the more difficult it is to get rid of it, and in the end it may lead to defaulting and bankruptcy. So, you can't just &quo

I think that Ward Cunninghams methaphor should stand like he intended it to be. Other factors like the number of developers is external: There can really just be one facit to the problem domain, so there may be varying levels of technical d

Truth is that Unix has a very good design for an operating system, that gained large popularity, and will be in widespread use throughout the foreseeable future, because of the superiority of its machine model and design. No matter how many

Oh well, it is an easy course. My few cents is that it helps improve your life, taking such a course. At my university, we had an "easy" philosophy course, focusing on Sartre and Kierkegaard, existensialism. The course itself, ope
