I found this article angsty, obnoxious and full of belabored, melodramatic prose, just like the rest of Foer's writing. The instinct not to interfere in complete stranger's emotional turmoil -- especially when she is a 15 year old

I can't really make a guess about the author's coding abilities, but all the evidence in this piece suggests a severe lack of confidence which is probably immediately apparent to prospective employers.

Although as an add-on to that, many people abstain from alcohol for a variety of reasons (not because they're "no fun" or stuck up) so I'd leave that out to avoid making potential candidates feel uncomfortable.

Weightlifter here. The squat described in that graphic is high-bar (bar between traps and delts) as opposed to the low-bar form championed by Rippetoe (and powerlifters in general). The back is more upright, so you can't really "trap" the b
