The zip code issue should now be fixed. E.g. try "76131" on the German site and you'll see jobs/companies in Karlsruhe, Germany. Do the same search on the U.S. and you'll see results from Fort Worth, TX.

Regarding the last point: true, drivers would have to be required to dash-mount their smartphones in a similarly fashion. This setup would certainly be much safer than the current one, where they’re paying attention to a mounted GPS and the
