I feel like this is missing something about the drawbacks? Or are there truly no drawbacks beyond disk usage for the cache, and folks should just enable it once they're aware it exists?

Hi from cdnjs, This is not something that should be happening, and I've not ever seen any reports of it happening. Do you have any info on exactly when you've seen this happen? This is something we'd definitely like to invest

Whilst that's do-able, this means you'd be starting a new CDN on a new domain from scratch. Bringing the existing CDNJS traffic over to something new would be a very difficult challenge.

We publish some basic usage stats each month here: https://github.com/cdnjs/cf-stats That gives you an idea of the scale of usage of the service. 157 billion requests last month.

It'd be lovely to hear this internally. Peter & I have been trying for the last many months to gain more access and control so we can keep it going. Alas, that didn't happen, so Peter stepped down and is no longer maintaining
