In addition to what sister comments said, it's also a matter of your threat model. While SHA-1 might no longer be sufficient protection against targeted attacks by powerful attackers, it's still good enough to protect against a ra

PHP does this (with a warning). I'm not sure if this should be an argument for or against. <?php $foo = array(); echo $foo['a']['b']['c']; // not an error

It's true that the average user uses maybe 20% of Word's features, and Google Docs have 50% of them. The problem is that each person uses a different 20%. One feature I personally needed and missed was to generate a table of con

That is an ancient bug report not related to the current mobile interface ("MobileFrontend"). I think it predates that by a year or two.

I believe it's simply because no one has yet put in the effort necessary to start using it. It might be a conscious decision, but if it was discussed anywhere, I completely missed that. (English Wikipedians in general are very "te

You can embed statements from a Wikidata item in the corresponding article on Wikipedia using the {{#property:…}} parser function. This is largely unused on the English Wikipedia, but some language versions already use this for their infobo

"ś" is input in Polish using AltGr+s (or Ctrl+Alt+s), but AltGr is not labeled as such on Polish keyboards (it's simply the right Alt key, and people will refer to it as such when asked).

Ram-Man is a human account. The same person operates the Rambot bot account. You can click on their usernames on the history page to see their user pages, which usually describe these things.

You can embed the images in the CSS as data: URIs, preferably automatically as part of the build process, and get the best of both worlds.

Thinkpads T500-series (T500, T510, T520, T530 and variants) and their W counterparts are 15' (or larger) and have no numpads. The new ones are pretty expensive too, though.
