And what are the steps when you work on 3 things at the same time (you are working on PR #2 + fixing issues in PR#1 + a hotfix needs to be deployed for an issue)? Or when you need to continue fixing things on the PR? On the absolute happy p

Also check Dave Bull's channel, he has been living in japan and learning woodblock printing for a long time, both as a carver and as a printer. He has a shop/workshop in Asakusa if you want to go there next time you are in Tokyo.

Japanese woodblock prints were not considered art at the time, they were for the day to day. From advertisment to low cost decoration. Japanese Woodblock prints do not really have an original other than the woodblocks themselves (or the ori

If it needs to be in topological order, how do you handle tables where the DDL includes mutually referencing columns (column A1 references B, column B1 references A).

I mean, Prisma is just awful, that's hardly a problem of soft deletes. At my previous job we used prisma, and what a terrible system, the amount of problems I saw there. Some have been fixed since, but it shouldnt take 3 major versions

I've dabbled in classical chinese as well. The language is quite ambiguous and the text is as well, you could look at it with very many angles. The straightforward explanation is that other translators probably influenced each other a

You are clearly engaging in bad faith at this point when you pick the "car not being useful for everything" analogy and you cherrypick it into absurdity. For someone that says is interested in distributed algorithms it's clea

So because a tool doesn't fix everything it's best not to use it? Each tool has its place, its uses and their limitations. You buy a car even if it doesn't cook you food. If you have multiprocess algorithms, distributed syste

It can model that if you add it. You can model total or partial hardware failure if you want and its a case you care about, you can add steps that corrupt your data or steps that kills machines at any time. TLA+ is just a way of defining st

Not my experience (with Alloy and TLA+, some FM are very very hard and time intensive), it takes me a day to have a decently sized proof of some pretty complex difficult to test algorithms. The idea is not to use it for everything. But test

Common Lisp is not a functional programming language in most current definition of the word. It's as procedural as they come, then libraries on top build other paradigms. Scheme tends to approach things more math-like. While common lis
