I as a client care about 400s because that means I fucked up. As a server I don't care about 400s because (within constraints) I don't care if my clients have fucked up. Ad a server I care about 500s as that means I've fucked

200 OK but actually you have an error from a pretend-REST API is my number one "old man yells at clouds" thing that drives me nuts. It is fundamentally disrespectful to the users of the API. Especially if you have metrics/al

If the M the V and the C are roles with not fixed functionality or purpose (given that you apparently can put anything you want in them) then what _is_ MVC?

by Marazan 4y ago
I've yet to find two proponents of "true" MVC who can agree what goes in the model and what goes in the controller.

No, Batch's interaction with IAM roles and permission is super weird and not at all documented. It is easy to screw it up.

by Marazan 4y ago
Even better if you have your cloud formation with the iam role in the same stack and there is something wrong the the rollback can happen such that the iam role gets deleted standing the compute environment and failing the rollback.

That is indeed the joke I am making.

Maybe they could create an agency for the protection of the environment and delegate some authority to it.

Have you taken into account account for private expenditure? There are far more out of pocket expenses in Italy for patients than there are in the UK.

by Marazan 4y ago
The UK spends far less per head on Health than other European countries. It is incredibly cost effective. The first step would be spending as much as other countries do before judging if a different structure would be better.
