I'm surprised there is no mention of the Rocket Internet investment. From what I heard it was the non-US part of Groupon (which was what Groupon acquired from Rocket) that partly dragged the company down.

That's not entirely true. Companies like BioMarin take advantage of the Orphan Drug Acts to make drugs for rare diseases. Then they get bashed for charging loads for these drugs. Damned if you do and damned if you don't!

I registered my UK company while I was living in Germany. I used these guys for my registered company address: https://www.smallfirmsservices.com/Default.aspx I used their cheapest service (£80/year) for which you get

they're quite different though. One is just squeezing a 5 day week in to 4 days. The other is only working 4 days worth of hours.
