Not a fool proof way, but when you buy, say, a $10 000 car, you should budget some thousands for repairs. Then if it breaks down soon after and it's too expensive to repair, your downside is $10 000, which is how much your $40 000 new

AFAIK there's no such lock-in in PWAs, even if the app stores are probably going to be the most important venues for their distribution. PWA is a web app that gets more 'app-like' progressively when you need it to. You can us

Here's a Wikipedia article about the abort modes. It probably would get pretty tense if you had to abort when the rocket started going through 'rapid unplanned disassembly', though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi

I think having a more disperse mix of generations would solve this. Not every family's kids need parents in the backyard, but some retirees could be there. Not necessarily to be actively engaging with the kids, but keeping an eye on th

Interestingly here in my native Finland, traffic tickets for major violations are progressive. So for a low income driver, major speeding might lose your license for months, but only cost you 150 €. The same infraction would cost a upper-mi

Responding likewise? You mean censoring stuff back? That seems like an awful thing to do, to verify for global audience that censorship is a legit tool of foreign politics.
