The police can do that - however, they need reasonable suspicion for it. I have refused to be tested for alcohol successfully in the past. I didn't drink anything, I just don't like such tests being routinely used when there is no

I'd suggest sticking to "e. g." as well. I'm also not a native speaker and have never seen the abbreviation "f. x." before so I couldn't figure out its meaning.

Also possible with BTRFS. I set this up once for a small business with hourly snapshots during working hours. This way users could just restore older versions of files they accidentally deleted, overwrote or messed up in some other way. Ano

I thought about building such a thing and have the right background. What do you think would be a good service to start with? I thought about k8s and then go on from there.

Regarding the screenshots, maybe using the PrtSc key is more suitable for you? PrtSc alone saves the whole screen, Alt + PrtScr the active window. You'll find the screenshot as a png file in your "Pictures" folder.

I wasn't aware that we already have so many extensions. But doesn't the binary get more bloated the more extensions you have?

If everyone implements their own custom extensions, you would have to compile your software for each RISC-V device. To be able to do that, the compiler needs to support those extensions. I think that is what was meant with "you lost so

I tried this with a laptop battery where I guess the undervoltage protection of the BMS cut off the power. I was successful in replacing the cells but wasn't able to reset the BMS. How do you deal with this?

I have a hard time believing that. The old meters I know will just stop when you generate more power than you use or even run backwards. (Europe with 3-phase power)

In some countries you can just connect a small solar installation to a power outlet if you stay at or under a certain wattage (e. g. 600W for Switzerland and Germany). So your reaction is overblown for these cases.

I believe you can insert dots as you wish but not use it like the plus sign. So abc@gmail.com is the same as a.b.c@gmail.com but abc.new@gmail.com is another account than abc@gmail.com.
